The 59 year old actor, is a proud owner of the best filmfare actor award for the film- “Katyar Kaljat Ghusli”, a musical motion picture, placing a role of “Khansaheb Aftab Hussain Bareliwale.” The film marks the acting debut for “Mahadevan” and directorial debut for “Subodh Bhave.” The film is selected as one of the 26 films to be screened in Goa at 46th “International Film Festival of India”. The movie is also being considered for the “United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation’s (UNESCO) Fellini medal.”
