After going through a harrowing experience of the disastrous fire during her dance performance at an event in Chowpatty a few days back, Pooja Sawant has recovered and is back to work.
Her new film ‘Bus Stop’, is directed by Sameer Joshi, whose last film was ‘Mamachya Gavala Jaoo Ya’. But, she is also waiting for the release of her film ‘Vrundavan’ starring Raqesh Bapat , herself and Vaidehi Parsurami. ‘Vrundavan’ is all set to release on April 8, 2016.
Having given a hit film ‘Dagadi Chawl’ last year, this is Pooja’s first film to be released this year and hence the success of this film is very important to her.
Being the tallest actress among the few beautiful actresses in Marathi, it remains to be seen, how her chemistry works with Bollywood actor Raqesh Bapat, who is making his debut in Marathi. Raqesh in his interview with Zee talkies, has already praised both his co stars one of them being Pooja, calling them highly talented and further went on to add that the camera just loves them which is one of the best compliments for Pooja.
Till now, besides ‘Dagadi Chawl’, Pooja’s best performances were seen in films ‘Poshter Boyz’ and ‘Neelkantha Master’.
