After “Restaurant, Gandh, Nirop, Rajwade & Sons” director “Sachin Kundalkar” tried his hands in a Bollywood movie “Aiyaa”. Not expected from a director considered as an art house in the Marathi film industry debuting with a film conception like “Aiyaa”, plugging his image rapidly. But he tried emerging in our vista, with a juvenile friendly movie “Vazandar”, most of his movies cater to the young audiences as compared to the traditional Marathi section keeping aside.
Vazandar Review : Subjects like “Vazandar” is interesting to watch, especially for the youth of today, objectifying a major weight issue, in account of an ample of crowd. Gone are the days when people appreciated movies revolving around fiction, drama, fantasy, and sci-fi, musical. Today’s India wants to buy things, referring reality and “Vazandar” comply with, what’s needed.
The film moves around two protagonist “Priya Bapat as Pooja” in her early 20’s studying and “Sai Tamhankar as Kaveri” married into a well to do family, being an elegant Maharashtrian bride, exhibiting not the same persona when with her only pal Pooja. Priya bapat demonstrated a cute girl, but it was Sai Tamhankar who won our hearts out and took the film under her shade. The movie displays a weight issue of the both but with a segregated situation, comparatively.
Focusing on the active class, this movie will appeal to them more, than the older section, but with a message and eagerness to watch with a heavy title “Vazandar.”
