This year Marathi television witnessed a great leap in terms of technology. The serial ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ by Mahesh and Adinath Kothare did the unimaginable by introducing 3D real animation on Marathi television.
The effects used on this show are planned by placing motion sensors on the lead character’s face, after which it takes six days to add in the visuals to get the right effect. Adinath Kothare shares, “We have always lived up to the audience’s expectations by delivering challenging and different content.
With the technical move we hope to bring more revolutionary changes on Marathi television.” Mahesh is also known to have given Marathi TV its first mytho in ‘Jai Malhar’.
