Don’t Worry Be Happy is a Marathi drama showcasing the issues of E-generation in search of solutions for the same written by Mihir Rajda, which was produced on in Mumbai, starring Spruha Joshi and Umesh Kamat in lead roles, produced by Nandu Kadam under the banner of Sonal Productions and directed by Adwait Dadarkar.
The play revolves around Umesh Kamat as Akshay and Spruha Joshi as Pranoti, a 21st-century typical Marathi career-oriented couple with a no children policy for the next five years of marriage. The story unravels as Pranoti is diagnosed with an ovarian syndrome.
The reason for the syndrome is ‘stress’, and the couple tries to figure out what exactly is the reason behind this in their lifestyle and how to fix it. The story which unfolds is a tale common in many of the households today, relatable to infertility, marriage woes, extended family issues in a manner of a stage performance.
