Adinath Kothare has acted in about 17 Hindi and Marathi movies, starting from Maza Chhakula as a child actor. He has produced many Marathi serials, along with his father Mahesh Kothare.
He has even assisted in direction, in some of his home production Movies and TV serials. Now Adinath is all set to make his debut as a director through his own production Marathi Movie Paani.
For the past two years, Adinath has visited many drought affected areas to study the situation and is concerned about water conservation. He wants to reach out to the entire world, about the importance of water conservation, through this movie Paani.
At present, he is working on the script of the movie and is expected to start the work very soon. The movie is inspired by the work done by a social activist in Maharashtra, Hanumant Kendre.
He has spread the water conservation methods among villagers, starting from his own village Nagarwadi in Nanded district. The subject of the movie is very timely as Maharashtra is facing severe drought situation this year.
