“Freedom 251” : India’s First Cheapest SmartPhone only at Rs.251/- & Website got 6 Lacs hits per second OMG


The Noida (Uttar Pradesh) based company launched the world’s cheapest smartphone.

And the phone has 8GB storage and 4-inch display, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory and dual-SIM option & cameras in the front and back.

Ringing Bells earlier said their Freedom 251 phone would be priced under 500 rupees (£5; $7.3), but at the launch on Wednesday, it said it would cost just 251 rupees ($3.67; £2.56).

India is the world’s second-largest mobile market and has one billion mobile phone subscribers.

Freedom 251 is expected to target a market already dominated by low-cost handsets.

We also try to book the smart phone but site is down due to high trafiic. Then we have recieved this message from their end.
